Faith Club          

Are you looking for a safe space to talk and grow close with others? Are you a Christian looking to grow your faith?  Then, Skyline’s new Faith Club is the perfect environment for you. Join us in room C407 on Thursdays after school from 3-4 pm to participate in service projects, chat, and grow your faith. Each week we do something new, so make sure to bring a journal and some friends! See you there!


Palestinian Relief Club

Do you know someone impacted by the war in Gaza? Do you want to help make a change in the living conditions refugees are facing? Join the PRC- the Palestinian relief club. Help us raise funds to give humanitarian aid towards Palestinians in Gaza. We meet Thursdays in Mr. O’s room (C310) only for about 10-15 min, so please stop by and bring a friend.


BSU & Rising Scholars Donation Drive  

BSU and Rising Scholars donation drive for CAN Ann Arbor is in it's last two weeks! Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. believed in service. He also believed all people can serve! Feel free to bring in donation for those in need. Place your donation in one of our donation boxes. OR bring your donation to Ms. Whitehorn or Ms. Barton. We thank you!


Speech & Debate Club

Hello Skyline! Please join the Speech and Debate Club on MONDAY, after school, in Room C302. The Speech and Debate Team are still actively recruiting new members, so stop on by! The Speech and Debate Team is a great way to hone essential public speaking skills while also preparing you for college! Stop by on MONDAY after school in Room C302! Again, please note the change from Tuesday to MONDAY!


Freshmen Lunch & Learn     

Freshmen Lunch and Learn Sessions: Counselors will be hosting four year planning sessions in the CUBE on Tuesday 1/28 and Thursday 1/30 during both lunches. We encourage our freshmen to drop by and meet with counselors to talk about how to schedule in all of the classes they would like to take over their high school career!


ELL Club   

Good morning, Skyline High School! The ELL Club is excited to invite everyone to a special presentation happening this Thursday, January 30th. Are you interested in medicine, healthcare, or the topic of cancer?  Professor Yu, a distinguished researcher, will be sharing his insights on a topic titled "The Universal Marker for Cancer: An Achievable Dream Needs You". This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about groundbreaking scientific advancements and how teamwork and innovation can make even the biggest dreams a reality. The presentation will take place in room C306 this Thursday at 3 PM. Don’t miss out on this inspiring event and we hope to see you there!


Earn Volunteer Hours at Curriculum Night      

Sky Students. Next week on Wednesday, February 5th we will be welcoming our new incoming 9th grade class to Skyline for Curriculum Night.  We are in need of numerous Skyline students to work as tour guides or travel guides that evening.  Also if you would like to reserve a table for your Skyline team or club at this event - please sign up for that as well.  There can be a max of 2 team members per group.  Please look for the link in your grade level Schoology group, the link will also provide specific times and details.  The deadline to sign up is this Friday, January 31.  Please see Mrs Bezeau if you have questions.


Skyline WinterFest Spirit Week     

Sky SAS WinterFest Spirit Week is this week - dress-up days all week long and pep rally on Friday! Yesterday on Wednesday - the 9th Graders won Glittery Winter White Out Day!

 Tomorrow on Friday is Class Color Day - 9th White, 10th Sky Blue, 11th Navy, 12th Black and Staff wears Gray.

 If you dress up 50% or more of the theme - you can enter to win gift cards at lunch each day! Look for SAS reps and officers in the center atrium area of the Commons during lunch and enter to win! You can only enter during your assigned lunch, 1 entry per person per day and must be present to win!

Also - if you are the winner or the rep from your Skytime for the Rock - Paper - Scissors competition - reminder to keep an eye out for an email from Mrs. Bezeau.  Also on Friday during your lunch make sure to check in with her - in the Center Atrium area of the Commons  so you can get specific details for the Finals Competition!
